International Association of Counselors & Therapists IACT Approved Instructors
The International Association of Counselors and Therapists offer international training in various complementary healthcare disciplines. Many instructors are state-approved and/or licensed, depending on the local, state and country regulations in which they operate. You may decide to pursue training through a weekend training protocol, an apprenticeship training protocol, or a residential intensive protocol. IACT requires a minimum of 120-hours of cumulative study.
Complementary healthcare is continuing to expand at an incredible pace and one can find appropriate training in many areas of wellness by contacting an approved instructor in your municipality.
Most instructors prepare their students to initially offer sessions that deal with: smoking cessation, weight control, stress, phobia elimination, habit extinction, personal growth, spiritual growth, performance enhancement, insomnia, past-life regression and behavioral change. Other topics covered include ethics and professionalism, marketing and when to refer to a licensed health care professional.
